With art and decor, I am always thinking about the next season and holiday, so it seems to make it arrive even quicker. I have been working on a Christmas series including a sweet fawn in a bed of mistletoe and a beautiful, snowy church inside a snow globe. I can just picture the little fawn walking up to me in the middle of a snowy forest, on its little wobbly legs, nuzzling my hand with its little velvety, snow covered nose. And who doesn't love a snow globe, with all of its beauty and wonder? Can't you just imagine all of the history of this little globe passed down from generation to generation-all of the little hands that turned it over and the childlike wonder, watching the snow float down through the water as it played its tune. Let's take time for moments like these this Holiday season. Let's not be so concerned with the hustle and bustle and busy-ness of the Christmas season, but let us breathe in deep, soak in the moments with our families and friends and take the time to stare at snow globes and bask in the wonder and joy that comes from Jesus's birth.
