These boots are very different, but I love them both for their differences. We have the simplicity and clean lines of the rain boots that make me think of sloshing through the farm-mucking the stalls and combing horse hair. Then we have the detail and design of the cowgirl boots that make me think of the riding and roping. I do so much of the pretty white flowers and I love to mix in a bit of southwest flare now and again with the beauty of the cacti. When I think of all the detail that God put in to each and every one of His creations, I am in awe and wonder. Luke 12:27, "Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these." Flowers and plants are therapeutic in their beauty-but they don't strive to be anything other than what they were created to be. They don't work or worry or strive to be more or different than exactly what they were made for. It has taken me years to accept that I was made to create. So many voices telling me other things and that art wasn't enough. But my soul is filled by creating and I am so thankful for this beautiful outlet I have been blessed with.
